High jump

High Jump 

Slowly jogging to the terrifying

high jump area “line up in two

lines” Miss Forster said in a

loud voice ,if you jump with

your lift leg come over here

but if you jump with your right

leg come and set over in a line

right were my foot is”Miss

Forster said with her normal tone.

Remember you can only

scissor jump when you

are at interschools.For a

minute there I forgot

how to do a scissor jump

but luckily Miss Forster did

an example for the people

who don't know how to do

a scissor jump

My turn 

Oh no there's only three

people left to go and then

it's my turn sweat dripping

down my face and people looking

right at me there were thoughts

going through my head i felt like

i was going to faint i started

taking deep breaths in and out

i didint want to jump but i didint

want to be embarrassed either.

So I took the rasik my heart

was beating fast so i got ready

just like how i would start a race

go so was running fast around the

cones but then i just froze i

don't know what happened

My thoughts are now telling me

i shouldint be worried next time
I found it very hard to jump over the high jump
I really enjoyed finishing the jump

Pigeon impossible

Washington d.c latest news 

On the 7 of September 2018

 there was an incident in town

 at exactly 5.40pm. A pigeon swoop 

through town searching for food 

in the corner of the pigeons

eye he glimpsed a piece of food

 so he went down to get the bagel 

and missed. But he didn't give up 

so the pigeon swooped into the 

cass and pushed a big Red Button

 first the lazzers then the guns 

and then came the big otamet

 lazzers and the guns together.

flying into the sky in the 

cass the pigeon looked and found

That  the agent dropped the bagel

 down the pigeon swooped down 

landing on the ground he saw the

 the bagel but as soon as the pigeon 

took its first bite he had just got hit by a rocket

Bang the pigeon looked as flat as a pancake

Mandala

This week in Room 2 we  have been learning how to make a mandala with our compass . The first thing we did was make a draft so we would know what colours we were using and how big our mandala was going to be. Then we got given our good copy. I found it really easy to make the mandala with the compass  but I found it hard to choose and shade my colours. Our aim was to create art for our calendar we hope our whanau buy.

out to the cold deep blue ocean.You can hear the wind howling and people shouting loudly

Jandal Art

Last term my class room and I were told to make a painting on a jandal and the painting needs to tell a story about yourself.Before we stated painting we had to make a draft so we would know what it would look like when the jandal art was finished. I had planed my art jandal out just like the instructions were said . Then we got up to the part were we painted the wood shaped as a jandal.  When I started to paint on the wood I had realized that I had made a mistake so I restarted but this time I just blended the colors and then I drew over the paint with every thing I enjoy at school. I found it really easy  to draw on the jandal with a sharpy.

 

My life

Hi my name is Veer I go to Awapuni School.  I have six brothers including my two step brothers.I also have five sisters including myself and one step sister altogether I have eleven siblings .  I am a maori from both sides and the reason  why I like about being a maori is because each year we have
this thing could pa wars it is when you have all of this sport events and I find it really fun and the other reason why I like being a maori is because I can speak different languages.     

At school I am good at math and I really enjoy problem solving.I found it hard to do division.My goal for this year is to try to learn my division by the end of this year.

This year I am looking forward to achieving my goals. At school I am inspired by my amazing teacher Mrs Gomm because she helps other kids to learn about amazing things.

Beautiful bright orange colour from a small smooth persimmon.

Soft like a pillow and crunchy like crispy chips

As my teeth bite into the persimmon it Taste like a delicious yummy apple .Dissolving in my small round mouth .Smells like a juicy ripe watermelon.Nibble nibble nibble so yummy.
